My dad passed away this morning very unexpectedly, and although it hasn’t fully sunk in I was glad that just last night I took this picture of him. It is perfect.

I am very sad about your dad. I didn’t know him well, but it must be very sad for you. At the funeral I was reminded of a funny story.
One day after school, Erin and I went over to your house. Nate was there but was leaving and said we could hang out until he got back. So we grabbed a box of lady fingers and went to hang out in your basement. After about 20 minutes we heard noises upstairs and thought some one had broken in (cuz nate still had 1/2 an hour before he was supposed to get home) so we grabbed some blankets and hid under them. Then we couldn’t hear them anymore so we peaked out from beneath the sheets and your dad was standing right there!!! We screamed pretty loud, and he was a little confused as to why we were hanging at your house all by ourselves, so we left.
